Moroso 21322 Champ Style Oil Pan

Now you can have a Moroso oil pan for an affordable price. It features trap doors for oil control, removable windage tray, built-in crank scraper and accepts up to 3.800" stroke with steel rods. It's 7-1/2" deep, 11" wide and fits 78-87 Metric chassis and Camaro stubs. Fits small block Chevy and includes a 1" Inspection plug.

Has a 7 quart capacity.

There are many scenarios where a stock-volume oil pump won't provide the protection your engine needs. Engines with loose clearances (budget rebuilds or high-mileage engines) will need more oil volume to maintain a desired pressure. Engines operating at sustained high RPM (racing applications) also typically need more oil volume to maintain pressure in all oil galleries. This SBC high volume oil pump works with the stock SBC oil pump shaft bushing, but we recommend an aftermarket Steel SBC Oil Pump Drive Shaft With Sleeve.

This high volume oil pump moves 25 percent more oil by utilizing 1.500-inch long internal gears, which is .300-inch longer than stock pumps. Another benefit of a high volume oil pump is increased pressure at idle, providing some much needed peace of mind on the street. This SBC oil pump is preset to 55-65 psi to satisfy most mild-mannered SBC engines. If additional oil pressure is needed, you can always change to a SBC High Pressure Oil Pump Spring for a quick boost in oil pressure in your SBC oil pump if needed. Or better yet, upgrade to our Deluxe High Volume SBC Oil Pump, which includes two additional pressure springs and a steel oil pump shaft sleeve. Combine this small block Chevy oil pump with a new 5/8-inch SBC Oil Pump Pickup Tube/Screen to fit your stock-style oil pan.
